As we move through the spring conference season and continue building momentum across the country, I wanted to take a moment to thank all of our members, vendors, and partners for their continued engagement with CommonWealth Purchasing Group.

Over the last several months, our team has had the opportunity to connect with many of you in person at conferences, meetings, and events — including the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers’ Community Health Institute (CHI) in Hyannis. CHI was an incredible success and a strong reminder of the power of collaboration within the Community Health Center movement. The energy, innovation, and commitment to mission we see throughout all of the conferences we attend continue to reinforce why CPG remains so focused on helping health centers leverage procurement as a strategic advantage.

One theme we continue to hear from members across the country is the growing need for operational efficiency, workforce support, and technology solutions that create meaningful impact. In response, CPG continues to strengthen and expand our Vendor Network with partners who can help address these challenges in practical, measurable ways, including AI and new approaches to our members’ pain points.

Over the coming weeks, CPG is excited to continue bringing members educational opportunities and strategic vendor connections through a series of upcoming webinars and partner spotlights.

Most recently, on May 13, CPG hosted a webinar featuring Tioga Optical and Dr. Chelise Firmin, highlighting innovative vision care solutions and services available to Community Health Centers through the CPG Vendor Network. We encourage members who may have missed the session to click the link to watch the webinar recording and learn more about what Tioga Optical has to offer, including direct access to their products, services, and special CPG member pricing. https://www.cwpurchasing.com/cpg-connect-vendor-spotlights

In addition, we are excited to host upcoming webinars featuring two organizations that are helping health centers strengthen operations and address key challenges:

  • Connection-IT – helping organizations strengthen their technology infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, managed IT services, and overall operational support.
  • CHG Healthcare – a national leader in contingency healthcare staffing placement services that can help health centers address workforce shortages and maintain continuity of care.

These sessions are designed to provide practical insights and introduce members to valuable resources available through the CPG Vendor Network. We encourage all members to participate and explore how these partnerships may support your organization’s strategic goals, operational efficiencies, and patient access initiatives.

We are also excited to announce that the long-awaited CPG Member Portal is scheduled to launch in June. This new platform has been developed to improve the member experience by making it easier to access vendor information, contracts, resources, webinar recordings, contacts, and additional tools to help members maximize the value of their CPG membership. More information, including launch details and training opportunities, will be shared soon.

As CPG continues to grow nationally, our focus remains clear: helping our members identify opportunities to reduce expenses, improve operational efficiencies, and ultimately reinvest more resources into patient care and access. We remain grateful for the trust you place in our team and look forward to continuing this work together.

Thank you for your partnership and continued support.

Warm regards,

Rich Napolitano
